His mistake was taking on Okami for the 2nd time. Period.
I was surprised quite a few ppl (a majority?) picked Belcher to win. If they desire him to win because they want a new contender then fine. But it really sounded like most of them truly thought Belcher was beyond Okami at this point... Well beat him once, beat him again is what Okami did. Too bad Okami's too nice or else Belcher would've suffered more than just with his ego.
