Today, we celebrate the belated birthday of one of the greatest boxers of all time, Muhammad Ali! Truly the best boxer in his time and one of the greatest boxers to ever have set foot inside the squared circle. [YT]/watch?v=TwvSsX_jyLs[/YT]

    Happy Birthday GOAT!

EDIT: Somehow, I temporarily lost the ability to correctly count the days. Thanks to Diamond Jim for pointing it out.

..Why would I want to celebrate the birthday of a man who thought White people were devils? Just another case of "Oh he used to be a complete racist but it's ok..he's Black and it's against White people so it's allowed"

I'll just point out that the sportswriters at the end of the 1970's chose Roberto Duran as the fighter of the 70's.

Ali was champion in the 1960's for about 3-4 years.

He was a great fighter but not the p4p best of his time. Happy birthday.

Ali was champion for about 3-4 years in the '60s before his belt was taken from him by the Supreme Court in an argument that the Court ultimately lost. Half of his prime years in his 20s were taken away and yet he still built a resume that consists of a heavyweight Murderer's Row of ATG, near ATG, and dangerous respected boxers during two successive decades.

I feel sorry for those who disliked him so much that they failed to appreciate was they were witnessing in and out of the ring. Happy Birthday champ.
