I don't follow him to know for sure, but just yesterday I heard it from his own mouth on an interview with that guy that has his mic way too close to his face. He can do whatever he wants, I just find it offputting. The performance was great though

Just the idea of a world where Belal is a knockout God, but still hated, and half heartedly flexing in front of silent crowds is hilarious to me. It sort of captures and distills his unique constellation of awkwardness, and the other buffer lazily reading out his accolades only reinforces this perception, for me at least. In this reality, Belal "hands of Canelo" Muhammad reigns Supreme. It's like a Marvel "what if?"
