We can make fun of him now, but Colby from a few years back was a problem for anyone in the division. Those who “sucked him off” did it because of his antics outside the cage. Well... The out-of-cage personalities are quite a bit different.

And Coby wasn't exactly some prototype. The high level wrestling with minimal stopping power and boatloads of cardio style had been a pretty established style for years. Jon Fitch was doing it way back while GSP was champ, who was also sort of doing that.

The defining characteristic of Colby is definitely not his style of fighting, it's his style of being a total asshole on the microphone, which is about the precise opposite of Belal.
