This fight was a bloody war that had everything. A near submission ending, an incredible knockout finish, a huge cut that could have ended the fight, a comeback by an underdog.

The heart Elkins displayed in that fight was incredible.

I really enjoyed it. I'm a huge Bektic fan but DE is one tough son of a bitch. Props to both of them.

but fight of the year? idk, i would expect a more evenly contested fight. comeback of the year? for sure, but not fight of the year.

I posted this was my favorite fight of the card, easily.

I can't call this fight of the year, however easily it's likely the biggest comeback I've seen in many years. Elkins gets a 10/10 in the toughness category.

Personally, I think Bektic was broken, you hit this guy with everything you got and he unfazed continues to press forward. I believe Bektic gassed and was discouraged because he was unable to achieve a stoppage. Bektic getting KO'd was pathetic he was very lazy in the transition, I don't know maybe he had that little respect for Elkins by that point?

Hopefully Bektic can learn from this fight, I think the hype is true, he is one of the top prospects in the UFC right now.

I knew The Damage was tough but FFS that was unbelievable. WAR ELKINS, I'll bet he made several new fans last night.
