Dan Henderson is over 40 years old and gasses out in grueling 5 round wars.

In a Five Round Fight he gets beaten by Machida i'd say 60-70 percent of the time.

In a 3 Round Fight I say its 50/50.

He should be laughing right now.

3 rd is so much better for him in terms of winning . 5 rd is better for him in terms of headlining= more $$ . i guess its all about $$ . money wins, otherwise he wouldnt be there in a first place.

Hendo was just coming off a knee injury as well, if he can't go come fight time it's way easier to find a replacement for a 3 round fight then a 5.

Yeah 5 rounders r hard on a 40 yr old . If the shogun fight was a 3 round fight , it would have been a dominant victory instead alot of people thought it was a draw . But no matter how many rounds Dan doesn't look to go the distance he's looking to land bombs and end the fight early .
