Began watching Spartacus

I binge watched the first 2-seasons and liked it a lot, never picked it back up when the new actor took over.

I am usually the same way when characters get changed, but I powered through some of the bad and it ramped back up in later episodes. Feel horrible that the show took off and the lead actor had such bad luck, I liked the guy. New guy fills the role good enough, and the show kept showing blood/gore/tits, so it kept winning for me.

Wish it was that easy, I'm a college student paying everything out of pocket atm. I don't have the money to get my own place as much as I'd love to.

I honestly feel some folks lost heart once Andy died, and didn't really give Liam an honest shot. I think the show still would have done as well had Liam started season one.

I saw that season 2 is prequel season, so I jumped ahead to season 3

You should watch the prequel season before watching season 2. Important characters and events happen so some stuff won't make sense if you skip.

Well really it's mostly like one character is introduced who kind of serves as a protagonist of the prequel season, and I guess he was popular because they bring him back in season 3, so you'll really just be wondering who this guy is.

Weird to consider that the prequel season only happened because they thought/hoped Whitfield would recover and be able to return.
