So what do you guys think of this show? I'm on Season 2 now and I like the show. Lots of blood and action and the story got some nice twists and surprises. Only problem is holy fuck is there a ton of sex in it. I feel like I'm watching a softcore porn sometimes. It might even be worse than Game of Thrones when it comes to the sex and nudity.

Also the phrases are fucking funny. "By Jupiters cock!" or a gem that I just heard today "The words that spill out of your mouth are the same as the shit that comes out of your ass". "They are getting smaller, he's barely tall enough to suck my cock" lol

Yeah, I enjoyed the show and I'm actually rewatching it the past week. I have to say, the difference between Andy Whitfield and the new guy is pretty fucking dramatic. Andy was the shit. The show goes on with the new guy but I don't like him nearly as much. I don't remember the difference being this stark because I originally watched it all as it came out, so there was a year off between the seasons (with Gods of the Arena being a prequel season before the next season continued the story). But watching Season 1 right into Season 3, the difference is huge.


I really want to watch the documentary on Andy's fight with cancer, 'Be Here Now' - I don't think it's come out though. Damn you have to order it for a screening in order to watch it. I really want to see it :(

The first two seasons were gold, but my interest completely died during the first ep of season 3. I guess I should give it another go

The last two seasons are definitely worth watching, IMO.

You should give it another ago, Liam McIntyre may not have been as good as Andy but he was still good in his own right imo
 
Didnt they do season one, then season 2 was suppose to be before season one because the main actor was sick.. then when he passed they brought in another guy for season 3... Lucy Lawless nude was cool... I seen all of them awhile ago except the last few episodes...
 
The series finale is pretty fucking epic. I remember watching it several times.

I saw that season 2 is prequel season, so I jumped ahead to season 3 just to see the new actor at work, definitely seems like it'll take a bit of an adjustment. Will probably seem strange if I were to go back to the original actor after I finish the series though since the new guy is in 2 seasons instead of 1.

Is the sex still rampant in the rest of the show or does it die down later on? I'm guessing not in season 2 because I saw the first episode and there were like 3-4 scenes, one of which was an orgy, lol.

I ask because my dad loves Roman/Greek movies and shows, Gladiator is legit his favorite movie. I'd like to recommend this to my dad and mom to watch, but I don't want them to question why I recommended such a filthy show, lol. Even though I'm sure they'd still enjoy it.
 
GOAT Television show imo. I loved every episode of every season. I don't remember a dull moment. 10/10.
 
Am i the only one who actually prefers the second Spartacus?
 
season 1 is all time great tier

the rest is good but is not the same without andy
 
Great show. Prequel season is my favorite.
 
Season 1 was fuckin epic. Had my doubts halfway through but it gets so good. Rest of the series is also solid.
