Nothing has changed. Let the hate begin.

Mod note: just like with any thread, do not make racist or anti-Semitic remarks. Also, do not suggest or wish genocide on a group of people.

In general,

- Israel and the Jews have the right to exist like any other country.
- Before Israel came to be, there was no Palestinian movement. Palestinians didn't care where they lived and they did so under Jordanian rule for example without opposing the Jordanian king.
- She is willing to go to any neighboring capital to discuss peace. Let's sit down and negotiate peace. The Arabs don't agree. (nothing has changed since).
- Reporter complains about Israel possibly hurting civilians if they bomb military installations near Cairo. Golda's response is "We didn't put the military installations near the civilians, It was an accident and we are sorry". All while the Jordanians are directly bombing civilians. (sounds familiar?).
- Reporter: "Egyptians kids are taught to hate Israel. Isn't it Israel's fault?" (Nothing has changed since).
- The quarrel with the Arabs is not about land. It is because they don't think Israel has the right to exist. (see Hamas today).
- The arabs want Israel gone and even If Israel didn't exist there won't be peace in the area as the Arabs "are not so friendly with each other but that's none of my business"
- Reporter asks her "isn't time on the side of the Arabs as they are willing to fight for a hundred years?" and she says she doesn't believe that the arabs will raise generation after generation of young men whose only ideal is to kill jews. That's where she is still wrong 46 years after this interview took place.

1.- How can you say its exactly the same when Israel has already made peace with Jordan and Egypt?

2.- There is no willingness to negotiate peace at this point, the fact that illegal settlements are expanding is a proof of that.

3.- Virtually no arab nation wants to quarrel with Israel right now, the last one was Syria and i dont think they even think about Israel at this point.

Its basically Israel and their occupied subjects right now as opposed to the 70s were actual wars between nations were being fought.

Go watch the interview and what she says about the west bank. Maybe you'll understand why you are wrong.

There is peace with Jordan and Egypt. That is true but have you ever heard the people of Jordan and Egypt and their opinion?

And last, the Arabs are too busy killing each other right now. That is true. But what do you think will happen when they are done?

Funny how the mighty Arab countries complain about a small country like Israel being bullies. They all teamed up, tried to kill every single Jew in Israel and got their asses kicked in a matter of days. Sit down and be quiet you muslim scum, You lost a war and got to keep your bitch ass countries. Israel should be claiming the land they won in the war.

This is something that is constantly overlooked. How do you expect Jews to act after both the Arab aggression and the holocaust? Jews had to become Neo-Spartans and they did.

Its scary that a lot of people didn't care about Arab countries surrounding Israel and were planning to kill every single Jew and drive them into the sea. People are mad Israel pushed back the arab countries and occupied territory from hostile Syria, Palestine and Jordan LOL.

Everyone just wants to see Jews lay down and get run over by Muslim tanks for some reason

When they are done? they have been fighting each other since recorded history, what makes you think they will stop now?

And in the remote possibility of muslim unity, it would be better for Israel to have solid recognized borders instead of an illegal occupation that could be used as casus belli.

The last war between Israel and a sovereign arab nation happened 43 years ago, why is Israel still commited to colonization of the west bank?

Because of religious Jews and the unlikely event of removing half a million of them.

We already knew this, and some things have changed a little.

They could halt the building of new settlements though.

Because if Israel will leave it will just be another Gaza for the terrorists to start shooting rockets from and for ISIS to set bases from. Do you really think Israel is that stupid to just pack and leave when there is such a threat.

Like always, the Arabs need to first decide what they want to do. Live peacefully or be in a constant war. They are not ready for peace.

That's an issue but hardly THE issue. Israel have proved before it is willing and it can pull settlers out of areas it is pulling out of. See Sinai and Gaza as reference.

Zoti grinding his axe again lol

Occupation and colonization are 2 different things.

Gaza settlers were a tiny minority, West Bank settlers and their supporters on Israel are not.

Considering Israel is a democracy i dont see anything but pushing forward and its a huge issue, since settlements make the viability of a Palestinian state non-existant now.

Its ridiculous that Israeli settlers have voting rights and palestinians dont in matters concercing the west bank.

You want to claim that the arabs are wrong, you wont get a beep from me, but it seems you are apologizing for Israel flagarant crimes on the matter.

I just want to show the reality to all the ones that constantly criticize Israel. Israel is not free from sin but Israel is always ready to talk.
