Watching the McGwire/Sosa 30 for 30, some announcers were pretty lame ass calling homeruns or even calls in general. I grew up with Tom Hamilton doing Indians games and I have always felt he's given 110%.

Vin Scully was the absolute best. He called some of the greatest bombs of all time. Great storyteller. Probably his best quality is his silence after the HR to let the moment play out and let the crowd/team reaction tell the story.

Kurt Gibson's Walkoff Homerun in Game 1 of the Dodgers-As 1988 World Series:

Hank Aaron's 715th Record Breaking Homerun:

Joe Carter's Series Walkoff Homerun in Game 6 of the Blue Jays-Phillies 1993 World Series:

HR ball bouncing off of Jose Canseco's head and over the fence. Amirite?

Sterling is the single worst announcer in all of sports. and his homerun calls are so desperate and pathetic. cant believe a franchise like the yankees cant do better than him and whatever that woman that works with him
