If only there was a thread about it? https://forums.sherdog.com/threads/...bull-freire-vs-pedro-carvalho-mar-13.4065647/
But on a serious note, I don't know how it will play out. Long-time fan of Josh, but he is at the age where he can fall off the rails. He has been active in grappling competitions and the only time he's ever come in unprepared physically by his own admission was against his rematch with Mirko Cro Cop, many moons ago. If Markes can avoid going to the ground and keep it standing, he certainly has a chance. Apparently he is a new fighter at the heavyweight class from what I heard --- but really, I don't know much about him. I'll go with Joshu.
Probably because Barnetto hasn't fought in MMA in years? Who would you have put him in with? And don't say, "Fedor."
Fed... Ehmmm Big Country, Mir, Rampage. Another shot fighter but at least with more name recognition.
I dunno, Barnett has fought two out of the three you listed already. In reality, a bunch of these older foggies need to face some up and coming talent and put them over, creating a "name" -- but I get where you're coming from. In another couple of years Barnett, Fedor, the fighters you listed are likely all off the roster. I'd have preferred Barnett fight someone like Minakov but maybe something like that can happen later in the year.
"I AM A SHERDOGER....I ONLY CARE ABOUT NAMES AND NOT PERFORMANCE! " "IT'S RED PANTY NIGHT FOR US WHEN THE OLD BASTERDS FIGHT!"
Even with the ring rust and age, its still a stupid fight. Markes usually fights at MW and LHW Tyrell Fourtune would beat both of these jabronis at the same time.
