Maybe I'm just being biased because I'm a just fan

But maaan I still think he can still be a contender in this division, I always thought he was undersized at LW (still got some great wins tho) but this division seems better for him, he has some amazing highlight finishes already. He looks in amazing shape I think he is gonna get in the top 10 soon and get to be a contender, he seems like if he got the weight cut thing in his bag already, he seemed to had issues with it with his first few fights at FW, but I think he can get on a row now, hopefuly

I think he’s still capable of beating plenty of guys as he showed tonight. But he’s 37 years old and we’ve seen his ceiling which is that 10-15 range. I doubt he’s going on a run to the top.

Barboza looked good, great clip to add on to his highlight reel, I just don’t think he’s got enough in the tank to make another run. IMO Edson probably should’ve moved to FW after the Khabib loss like 6 years ago. I’m not exactly sure what he was expecting to accomplish by waiting until he was 34 to drop a weight class, aging is especially brutal for the lighter weight classes where speed and timing are paramount.

That cut to FW had Barboza looking like a tower in the wind.
Barboza was constantly moving like he was rocked without even being hit and Billy Q is pretty low level at FW so if he fights somebody who can hold their own in technique I think Barboza's body betrays him in a loss.

But tonight Barboza was flawless, beautiful performance I just think he has no shot at FW anymore despite being able to make weight.
