Barbell hip thrusts - am I missing out?

Anybody else go up on their toes at the top of each rep with this movement? I do the exercise for BJJ, so I try to somewhat mimic the motion of a good, high bridge. Any disadvantages to lifting the heels off the ground at the top?

You're lifting heavy, so stay on your heels. You're just limiting your poundage by unnecessarily making it a calf exercise. You wouldn't throw in a calf raise after every squat or deadlift rep.
