Rampage is gonna kill maldanado. I love maldanado but he's way too eager to eat a punch to try and give one. Not smart with rampage.

I hope Dillashaw wins, but I think both Brazilians will prevail.

Not all pro boxing records are the same though are they. Maldonado was 22-0 as a pro boxer.

That's great and if this was a boxing match with boxing gloves it would carry more weight. This is MMA though and it doesn't work like that. Only one of these fighters has been a LHW champ in the best MMA org and only one of these fighters has been a top 10 fighters for a large portion of their career. Which do you think carries more weight?

I'm not saying Rampage wont lose this. I haven't seen him fight in a while so I don't know what he looks like right now. It's just the boxing experience doesn't mean much to me.

This was the kind of fight Rampage was going to get, not bad

Still think Rampage should move to Heavyweight though would be so much more interesting

Yeah, everyone knows it, Rogan mentions it whenever he can, but what everyone should actually notice that his record could actually be 88-0 for all I care.

20 of his opponents have like 5 wins between them.

Instead of focusing on some boxing matches with bums in Brazil, why not focus on what we actually see in Octagon?

Rampage never defended his championship and lost it to Forrest Griffin via leg kicks. He has been a top guy but that time is past. I think he can beat Maldonado but you guys aren't giving Maldonado enough credit. If he fought smarter he wouldn't have looked like such a punching bag in his past few fights. But he has legit skill and at this point in their careers, I'd take him over Rampage.

That's fair, but then we've seen Rampage look pretty bad in his last few octagonal fights. He did well in Bellaforce, but this isn't a gimme fight against Maldonado.

He defended against Henderson. Your right if Maldonado fought smarter maybe he would be better but why all of a sudden would he fight smarter against Rampage?

There is no credit to give Maldonado cause he's not that good. I'm not saying he can't beat Ramapage just that I favor Ramapge and his boxing record doesn't mean much to me.

Bad is relative, he fought 3 very top guys and held his own at least.

Difference between Glover vs Rampage and Glover vs Fabio is telling.

Stylistically it's just bad fight for Maldonado.

So yeah, it IS kind of a gimme fight, someone who will exchange with Rampage, who indeed has way harder time winning if someone doesn't.

Maldonado main asset is that he's stupidly tough, and it will likely cost him a lot of trauma... again.

Oh right, forgot he won the belt before the unification bout. My bad. But those days are long gone. People actually liked and respected Rampage back then, and he actually did more than plod forward looking to box.

I love the idea of both Barao and Maldonado getting knocked out
