There's no reason for MM to fight Cejudo or Benevidabro 5 times in a row.
These match-ups are getting stale.

There's no reason for Dillashaw to fight Cody or Cruz 5 times in a row.

Merge the two lowest divisions and let the guys bang like the good old days of WEC.
Because anything else is uncivilized.

Both Flw and BW have other contenders other than those you named.

Besides, the people you named have only ever fought twice at most, not 5 times in a row

If TJ beats DJ that's exactly what they're going to do..

It should be 130 140 150 165 180 195 225 and 226-280 HW.

Definitely never seen this thread on Sherdog before...

Top 3 Flyweights:
MM: 5'3" Walkaround at 134lbs
Joseph Benavidez: 5'4" Walkaround at 150 lbs
Henry Cejudo: 5'4" Walkaround at 145+

Top 3 Batamweights:
TJ: 5'7" Not sure of weight
Cody: 5'7" Walkarund at 150-160 lbs
Cruz: 5'8" and walkaround at no more than 155

None of the matchups you listed have taken place more than once. Yes, FLW is weak, but Bantamweight is far from it. Jimmy Rivera is also in the mix there.

I agree. The flyweight division should be cut.

Agreed. There is plenty of talent out there at 125 and that talent pool will also continue to grow. I think 125 and 135 are fine and I'd keep them both.

Johnson is 140 lbs in the cage; 141.5 lbs walk-around after beer and food.

TJ is more like 5"6. He's shorter than Cody.

There is no need for the flyweight division. All these guys can move up to 135.

137, my bad. I'm sure it fluctuates.

"Big fights (at bantamweight), but at the same time when Conor talks about ‘I’m going to 170’ this and that, the other day I woke up weighing 137 (pounds). That’s two pounds," Johnson explained when speaking to FOX Sports. "Go ask (Dominick Cruz) what he’s walking around at, he’s probably at 160. Me going to 135 it’s like wake up and go take a (expletive) and I’m ready let’s jump on the scale."

MM isn't fighting at Batamweight, because when you wake up 3 pounds above fight weight, it kind of puts you at a disadvantage...

It should be 130 140 150 165 180 195 225 and 226-280 HW.

How about this

Eliminate weight cutting like One championship did and do this.

HW: 235lbs to 300lbs
LHW: 210lb to 235lbs
MW: 190lb to 210lbs
WW: 170lb to 190lb
LW: 155lb to 170lb
FW: 140lbs to 155lbs
BW: 130lb to 140lb

Or

This one below basically what they did (except they had like 3 other shitty tiny guy divisons below 130lb) and there lhw cap is 225lb which doesn't make sense since big lhw like Cormier and Rampage etc are around 227lb to 232lbs in the cage. They also kept HW cap at 265lbs whichor sent make sense if you eliminate weight cutting then it should be at least 285lbs

And MW biggest ones are about 205lb maybe 207lb

HW: 235lbs to 300 lb
LHW: 205lb to 235lb or 230lb
MW: 185bs to 205lb
WW: 170lb to 185lb
LW: 155lb to 170lb
FW: 140lb to 155lb
BW: 130lb to 140lb

Not exactly what this thread is about but I've been saying for years that weight classes need to be fixed.

More than 1 way to do it but I'd like to see the classes capped at something like:
125
140
155
175
200
235
275

That's kind of odd. I also recall Demetrius saying on a interview on this website he walks around at 155.

That's a dumb idea. Why would you touch BW now that it's at least on the top 3 best divisions?

You can make an argument for FLW being shallow, but just because you don't know who the legit contenders in BW are, doesn't mean it's lacking.

Well, you said he walks around at 134 lbs. Walk around weight and cage weight are two very different numbers.

As recently as June 2017 Johnson said: "Come fight night I’ll weigh 140 pounds."

He's mentioned this number on Rogan's podcast previously as well.

A couple of pounds might not sound like much, but it's very significant in the lower weight classes, which is why I was nitpicking.
