Bam's Bieberverse needs to go away

I get the idea behind the subforum and it's a good idea, but the reality is when I want to post a thread about a musician or a band, I want to discuss it now in real time with as many people as I can. I just made a Kurt Cobain thread in mayberry and it was moved to Bam's subforum and the last reply to any post in the subforum was at 8 pm LAST NIGHT! That sucks!!! So now I have to wait and MAYBE get a couple replies tonight, but most likely I'll get a couple replies tomorrow fucking night or something and by tomorrow night I won't give a shit.

Do you guys not see the problem with that? It's a failed experiment. Sorry but it is. Can we PLEASE delete that subforum now? Nobody goes there anymore and threads die there. It needs to go. I feel like we might as well post music threads to the dump because the result is the same.



edit: I mean NO offense to Bam at all btw. That dude is cool in my book and he always will be.

Yep. My thread is now dead. See for yourselves. If you move a legitimate thread that WAS getting traffic and conversation to a subforum and it immediately dies....something ain't working.

Guys, come on. I KNOW you know what I'm talkin about. It's not like Mayberry is gonna be overrun with music threads if bierberverse goes away. Only difference will be that music threads people are interested in will get replies by people that are interested. If they aren't interested, they'll get no replies. But if threads to go bieberverse they WILL die. Immediately.

I'll take a look at the situation and see what the numbers actually are.

Issue here is that, with the traffic of Mayberry, your thread would be just as dead and not only that, pushed 18 pages back behind the incoming flood of threads regarding spurned romance attempts, what I ate/drank/urinated threads and any others created to simply garner attention.

Simply put, the music forum was created to easily find and discuss this topic instead of the alternative in a VERY busy subforum.

I like the idea of a music subforum and I get the need for one....but I just don't think it gets much traffic over there. From what I've seen the Worldwide mma forum gets more traffic than Bieberverse does. And I don't think people make so many music threads that they would bog down mayberry if they were left in there. But it's just my opinion. Maybe I'm the only one that feels that way idk.

I completely disagree that the music sub forum should be shut down. It might not be the busiest sub forum on sherdog but I think it is one of the best as it is a great place to discover different types of music and there are lots of excellent threads.

Honestly it's not a bad idea. Put all the chicks and vs threads in it's own sub section of p&m. Bring music, shoops, etc back in p&m.

That's not a bad idea, I might consider doing that for a few weeks as a trial period. I don't know if I'd be able to bring back shoops because Google might still index the forum as a softcore porn subforum because of all the different types of hot girl threads.
