This is true. Chubb Rock, lyrically, was very underrated for his time.
I always thought Cool C and Steady B sucked, especially Cool C. Oddly, they're both rotting in jail IIRC.
Then there are a few female rappers like Terry B or some shit like that. Fucking horrible. "Murder She Wrote" rings a bell.

Kobe's rapping skills are almost as bad as his shooting.
A few people I knew liked Cool C, but I just never could get into his music. Now MC Shan is a different story. Let's face it. Cool C never had a classic like The Bridge. Admittedly, Cool C also didn't have help from Marley Marl.what? You didn't like Cool C? I always liked him more than Steady B. Terrible human beings but good rappers. Cool C was dope. But then again I love Shan and he's pretty much the same voice and flow.

Those are some names from the past. I remember Disco Rick from Gucci Crew II. Definitely lyrically weak, but fun nonetheless.Gigolo Tony
M4sers
Disco Rick
Fun stuff, but lyrically embarrassing.
Just look em up, no explanation necessary.

nobody stands with Rakim
it's unfair to use him for comparison
