These are 3/8 articles currently on the Sherdog website. My question is why are you reporting gossip and not actually news/events/real articles? Are you telling me that any MMA fighter who doesn't like another fighter or favors one in a match on a podcast,news station, internet, etc. that it is worth reporting on now?
Last week I saw an article along the lines of "Joe Rogan wants to talk to help negotiate a deal to get Ben Askren get in the UFC." I got really stoked and when I read it I realized whoever wrote the article just took whatever Joe had said in the podcast and tried making it seem official. So Joe Rogan says "man i would love to see you in the ufc and I would do anything to make it happen" and all the sudden it pops up on a MMA News Website saying "Joe Rogan willing to help Ben Askren reach deal in UFC?"
Garbage. Kinda like Cain V's last fight. If you don't show up and perform like your supposed to, it hurts your reputation. So for Cains next fight, I don't know "which Cain" is gonna show up. This is how I feel about the Sherdog writers lately. If you have nothing to write and are out of ideas, don't write anything and save your writing skills for the proper stories.
If we care about fighters opinions, we will follow them on social media. Please focus on news/actual events rather than immature martial artists gossiping about each other. Miesha is a very good example. Had a lot to say about Ronda when she quit fighting (and sherdog wrote an article about it) but didn't have an answer for her in the cage both times and left humiliated. And now shes kicking Jon Jones when he's down, and Sherdog is reporting on it....
