I think it was a school in Abu Dhabi or something but I never heard about it again after that.

Could that be where the bad blood really started?

Essentially it was some rich kid (Sheik) that wanted to play MMA gym owner. Frankie Edgar, Werdum, Khabib and Kavanaugh all gave seminars out there.

A year before was when he formed a relationship with the Bahraini prince that started KHK MMA. If he had any hope for a relationship or even fondness for the guys I feel like he wouldn't have tweeted like that. So I wonder what happened in the meantime?

Non of them did. They just got money to represent the brand. Kind of like Evolve MMA does.

I just researched it and they started running shows under the brand Brave CF. So some of Kavanaugh's guys might still fight under them. I'm not sure of the training status of most guys but Zabit apparently still gets some money from them.
