can anyone please help me , and lead me to the fights where andre galvao does back surfing (as in the video Brazilian jiujitsu tribute ) .

Wow. I just saw the video, and that was horrible.

But nothing that poor sap that got tooled can do will ever reach the level of EPIC FAIL as this one sided beatdown.

oh shit look what i found...i never heard of this

Joe Rogan calls out Andre Galvao | LOCKFLOW.COM

lol, andre would tool anyone at 10th pjj, even Ari.

i would take andre over any type of fight over rogaine. BJJ, MMA, street, slap box, pillow fight. any type of fight.

the best guy wearing 10th pjj stuff is vinny (but he was a world class bjj guy before doing anything with eddie) and andre just beat him nogi.

the guy tried to heel hook him and paid the price. just the same as if some dude tried to slam him or some other ILLEGAL shit.

Andre is in ADCC this year, maybe someone can bribe the sheik to let some 10th pjj guy into andre's weight class so he can get some more back surfing done on these chumps.

The push in the vid seemed a bit toolish...but Galvo is the man on the mats.

Joe Rogan called Galvao out in 2008 so this isn't really new. The match in question has been talked about before. Galvao's opponent wasn't a BJJ blackbelt but insisted on competing in the blackbelt category. When he tried to heel hook Galvao, Galvao had enough.

ah... fair enough.

Who is this Rustam Chsiev character? He gave Andre ALL he could handle and then some.

According to the commentary he reps Sambo?

i think the consensus is that the 'joe rogan' that called out andre was a fake taking the piss.

i do think it's LOfuckingL hilarious that so many of those guys on that LF thread were saying ed would take andre. there musta been some serious shit in those kids' kool-aid.

What kind of ass puts shit in kids' kool-aid. Galvao would seriously mess those guys up!

On a related note, it really is the most demoralizing thing when someone is so much better than you that they can float on top of your back like that when you're turtled up. I would rather the guy just go in for the kill instead of being perched on my back, just chilling.

russian wrestling national champ (don't quote me its what i heard) but he told me he wrestled for pretty much his whole life in russia and he's done some sambo. He's been training submission grappling for almost two years now. That man is a beast!

....and he goes toe to toe with a multiple time world champ and nearly beats him in his own sport!

I don't think you can take a world champ (let alone just a national champ) in sub grappling and have him compete against a multiple time world champ in wrestling and have a match that's even remotely competitive.

well, i wouldn't say 'nearly beats him' is accurate. there was one pass attempt out of 20 or so minutes that would have scored an advantage if they we scoring advantages. if i remember correctly, the only serious sub attempt from rus was a canopener.

galvao was throwing sub after sub up and even tho rus shrugged most of them off, he probably would have scored an advantage off of one of his shitty heelhook attempts or a near sweep to scramble. in any case, andre certainly was the more active fighter.

that said, rustam is pretty facking awesome and did an excellent job of stifling galvao's game to the extent he did. i am i little upset that he hurt cyborg, tho.

For one, they were dead even going into sudden death overtime. I counted THREE sub attempts in that final round, two committed lean back leg lock attempts, plus a near takedown that Galvao was able to avoid by sitting down into guard.
