Who cares? I saw the GnR concert at the O2 Arena. Axl sounded like he'd been castrated and force-fed razor blades.

If they can still make good new music this is awesome.

i dont care how old and shitty they are. if they completely ate dick on stage, i'd still imagine it'd be the highlight of my concert-going career.

As much as that would be awesome, it's wishful thinking at this point.

Glad they finally decided to Live and Let Die.

Those two were Estranged for a long time.

I guess a little Patience was all that was needed.

    I'll be here all week

    - Rumour/Sources say that they began talking in late October/November of last year.

But only now has it come to light more or less.

There were concerns that had word gotten out prematurely, it would have harmed both business entities (Guns N' Roses, Slash, etc.) Axl may still want to release the rest of the 'Chinese Democracy' era material, and Slash has plans for a third solo album.

Duff's re-emergence in Axl's life may have had an impact on Axl's feelings towards Slash. Duff mentioned on Chris Jericho's podcast that he and Axl did talk about a great many things, one topic included the demise of the original band and reuniting.

Slash recently divorced his wife Perla and is currently dating his old girlfriend Megan, who is/was best friends with Axl Rose's ex-wife Erin Everly. Axl did not like Perla and was seen as a large blockade to any type of reconciliation.

Talks over the "synch rights" to Guns N' Roses music seemed to go well and had Axl and Slash come to more friendly terms. This is the basis for them burying the hatchet with one another. Slash agreed to allow Axl to release "Appetite for Democracy" after both of them had blocked previous attempts for live concert DVD's.

Glad they could put their differences aside. Even if it is to late now to make great music together.
