The reality is Donald was done two fights ago. The UFC/Connor hype machine is going nuts with this (and was expected too) but Donald is shot and realistically wasn't going to make it past the second round. He was strategically put in that position to fight Connor, so Connor would shine (you don't think they would've given him Gaethje, Masvidal or Poirier? No way, too much of a risk). They knew Donald is running on fumes and punch drunk. And sadly, they know he's stupid enough to take the fight regardless. This is fight game strategy my friends. Dana was going to do anything to get Connor the rematch with Khabib and wants him to become champion at all costs. I wouldn't be surprised if Tony is paid off to stand down and if you think I'm wrong look how Gaethje is getting thrown out of the way and will probably get some money to move quietly. Dana was talking at the press conference like Khabib was a shoe in to beat Tony and the rematch with Connor is the priority. So sad, all of it, but that's fight game; honor and respect are at the bottom and money is numero uno.
