Awesome right hook

This is one of the best examples of a technically superb hook I've seen recently. Incredibly short, tight, barely moving the arm, just as it should be.

My left hook looks like that... only worst... much worst. That was definitely a very tight hook, but the best part of it was the timing. Right as the opponent dropped his hands the hook was right there meeting his chin. The best view of that hook is like 43 seconds in.

It looked like a shovel and I saw his arm move alot actually. He drop it down to his hip.

Watch where he's already holding his lead hand though (from the beginning). He keeps it held out and low. His hook hardly is different than a flicking jab from there, except for the body rotation. Point being, he doesn't swing the arm for force -- he just extends it in almost a straight line as the rotation builds into the connection.

It was a good shot though.

The kind of movement he had was good though(arm being propelled by body).... the sling shot effect(shoulders and body move first..then the arm like a bat). I think Zankou might have been referring to his lack of "normal arm movement" ...movements that give away arm punching.
