UFC on Fox 7 looks like, if all goes well, going to be one of those cards that will be remembered as an awesome card. So I thought all these threads about fights that you must see, why not make a big list of cards that you must. Just cause one card had a great fight, doesn't mean all the other fights on the cards were exciting.

I picked two recommendations and I invite people to add more cards to the list, and if you want to explain why, all the better. Note, the records displayed were the records of the fighters at the time they fought.

Pride Fighting Championship 2003 Final Conflict Middleweight Grand Prix.

In the first semi finale fight we got
Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell, 13-2 vs. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, 19-3.

In the second semi final fight we got
Wanderlei "The Axe Murderer" Silva, 23-3-1-(1) vs. Hidehiko Yoshida, 3-0.

Semi final, reserve match.
Murilo Bustamante, 9-2-1 vs. "Dangerous" Dan Henderson, 13-3.

Regular bout.
Kevin "The Monster" Randleman, 14-6 vs. Kazushi "The Gracie Hunter" Sakuraba, 14-7-1-(1).

For the Interim heavyweight championship belt.
Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic, 7-0 vs. Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira, 20-2.

Final bout in the Grand Prix Tournament, between the winners of the semi finale.

UFC 139

No title fights, but all fights here were good and the main event featured two Pride legends who finally faced each other in a fight many waited for a long time to see.
The main event fight is considered by many to be one of the best fights in UFC history.

Stephan "The American Psycho" Bonnar, 14-7 vs. Kyle "Kingsbu" Kingsbury, 11-2-(1)

Martin "Hitman" Kampmann, 17-5 vs. Rick "The Horror" Story, 13-4

Urijah "The California Kid" Faber, 25-5 vs. Brian Bowles, 10-1

Wanderlei "The Axemurderer" Silva, 33-11-1-(1) vs. Cung Le, 7-1

Dan "Hendo" Henderson, 28-8 vs. Mauricio "Shogun" Rua, 20-5

UFC 92 was good...

Rashad Evans vs (c) Forrest Griffin

Frank Mir vs Big Nog for the Interim HW title

Rampage vs Wandy III

Hendo v Shogun is absolutely NOT one of the greatest fights in UFC history.

It was nice to finally have this match-up, but hell, that fight got sloppy real quick, and both men really showed their age in that fight.

Disagree, it was a brutal fight where both fighters showed a lot of heart, especially Shogun at round 3 when Henderson was pummelling him where he moved into a heel hook (if I remember it right) and then coming back in round 4 and in 5.

It had everything, takedowns, submission attempts (Henderson almost caught Shogun in a choke in round 1), strikes, mounting and ground and pound.

Agree to disagree, sir.

I enjoyed the first two rounds, but it was nothing groundbreaking. But rounds 3-5 were just a slop-fest of mass proportions.

Entertaining? Absolutely.

One of the greatest fights in UFC history? Absolutely not.

That fight was super entertaining; however I was extremely annoyed in the 5th round, when Hendo was basically begging to get arm barred and shogun wouldnt go for it, just kept trying to pound out a guy who had never been tkod

lol, another person who agrees with me.

sloppy brawls where both guys show a ton of heart a great, but i prefer fights like Anderson/Okami, where one fighter just shuts down another through perfect technique.

For that matter UFC 134 was a great card.

Anderson being Anderson
Shogun avenging a win against his first loss in the UFC
Another great technical fight between barboza and pearson
The legend Nogueira winning in front of his home crowd (by knockout nonetheless)

Lightweight bout: Takanori Gomi vs. Nick Diaz
