Really awesome stuff. The 2nd video shows the sequence but I'd check out the first video to get a good hold of finishing the kata gatame style arm triangle without having to squeeze your arms to death.

Holy crap, he's saying something other than "No, I can't move" or "MURDER DEATH KILL RYAN!"

Nice. Seph came to my gym in Richmond and showed the way he likes to finish the arm triangle. Very useful details.

Seph is a really good guy. I enjoyed the short time I spent learning from him.

Training with Seph everyday taught me to finish arm triangles without squeezing my arms at all, and made me dangerous with the ezequiel or however you spell it in this same series.

Yeah, i like these details. No surprise that Seph is providing good info. I also teach that squeezing with your arm just means you're not positioned correctly. I like to finish by driving/pushing forward with my toes believe it or not. Similar to "shoulder of justice" type of pressure.

Does he typically do the gi Ezekiel the way he shows it in the video, or does he use the 'sleeve grip no gi finish' that Ryan shows in his videos (and I believe attributes to Seph in the first place)?

How do you deal with the opponents arm coming up too high. It works fine if the arm is below the chin, but I have a lot of trouble finishing it if the arm is high (covering his ear).

I tried to move it back with my head, but that doesn't really work if he is resisting.

It sucks because Ryan + Seph make it look so easy. Then I go try it out and can't get it to work...
