Essentially they would kill people they detained as initiation for the new guys, then plant evidence afterwards to cover it up. It's sickening shit. I wonder if they're going to get the same fate as the Canadian Airborne Regiment after Somalia.
A shocking Australian military report into war crimes has found evidence that elite Australian troops unlawfully killed 39 Afghan prisoners, farmers and civilians.

Australian Defence Force Chief Gen. Angus Campbell said Thursday the shameful record included alleged instances in which new patrol members would shoot a prisoner in order to achieve their first kill in a practice known as "blooding." He said the soldiers would then plant weapons and radios to support false claims the prisoners were enemies killed in action.

Campbell said the illegal killings began in 2009, with the majority occurring in 2012 and 2013. He said some in the Special Air Service encouraged "a self-centred, warrior culture."

Not murdering civilians for sport? Too much to ask? The Nuremberg Tribunal didn't think so.
It’s normal for every countries who have been doing it for 1000 years. Soldiers are trained to kill and have unlimited freedom to kill, torture and rape during war time.

Murders and rape have existed in human society since the beginning of civilization, and yet we don't consider those acceptable behaviours. Geneva Convention and the post WWII tribunals have already determined murdering civilians are war crimes deserving of punishment. War does not give you a pretext to murder for sport. It says quite a bit about you defending this kind of behaviour.

So that explains all the war crimes arrests, prosecutions and convictions.

Someone in another thread posted a documentary on something similar. It was a tough watch as they gunned down a young man laying in a field. It’s remarkable the military allowed private video recorders on a battlefield. Even more mind blowing these guys know they’re on camera assasinating people.
