One of my favorite what ifs is if they had booked Jake to do a heel turn after that promo where he DDTs Austin for his blasphemy and becomes basically a crusading Christian who fights against people like Austin ala Bret Hart just with the promo skills to back it up....then there is that whole pesky crack addiction that ruins it...unless you wanted it to be part of the angle in which Jake is clearly a hypocrite the crowd is even more against him....Or maybe that would be terrible. Who knows....but I would as part of the angle have Jake use have a snake bite Jerry Lawler. Possibly with Jake planting the snake on a 15 year old that Lawler is hitting on.

I'm watching 96 raw and yeah Austin basically brought WWF into that era. The shit everyone else was doing compared to Austin's work that year is apples to oranges.
