I appreciate your vids and especially your books, but I have a question.

Are you telling your affiliates to say they do 10th planet style jiu jitsu. I'm starting to hear it a lot and while the promotion must be great for you, it comes off as misleading to me.

There isn't a Gracie Barra Jiu Jitsu style, or an Alliance Jiu Jitsu style, so is their a particular reason why your followers insist that 10th planet is a particular style of jiu jitsu, since the thing that really makes BJJ different than other Jiu jitsu styles is the point system, which AFAIK you share.

What are your thoughts?

A black belt in PJJ is probably not going to be regarded as a black belt in BJJ by a BJJ instructor because it doesn't signify you know anything with the gi.

If you are referring to the non use of the Gi then YES, 10th Planet JJ is limited. It is however still BJJ however with a twist. It is not just No-Gi BJJ, he has come up with a very unique system to his Jiu Jitsu. It is not so much to separate from the bjj community but rather to define what Eddie does and represents opposed to your regular run of the mill BJJ school.
