Public government appointed officials behaving this way in public forum for Silva disciplinary hearing was embarrassing to themselves and the sport and the main two seats should be immediately removed from their positions. To make a mockery and joke of hearing destroyed their credibility and has to be seen in order to be believed. I hope media piles on and puts pressure on Nevada to fire these guys. So far media not saying much which is perplexing.

You wanna explain what you're talking about, ts?

  7. Not an Anderson fan, he got a fair punishment but yeah, it was pretty unprofessional.

That's life with athletic commissions for you though. Bureaucracy can ruin anything, even cage fighting.

You understand what an athletic commission is and what that hearing was, right? That was basically the sports version of being in the principle's office in junior high.

I didn't watch the hearing but from what I read it sounded like Anderson's explanations weren't the most coherent or plausible. The story changed multiple times and the commissioners thought he was either lying or not telling the whole truth. Sometimes the cover-up is worse than the crime, just ask Tom Brady.

When you apply for a license to fight in a state, you agree to follow their rules, and if necessary, accept their punishment. And let's face it, commissions are applying harsh punishments these days in order to send the message that PEDs won't be tolerated.

I think TS is talking about how the commissioners were cracking up like high school kids when "Let's talk about sex, baby," and "Me so horny" came on the loudspeaker from someone calling in at inopportune moments during the proceedings.

I'm with you TS. The commission is supposed to represent professionalism and authority (I know this is a stretch for the NSAC), but they really came across like an immature bunch of frat boys, which makes it even harder to take them seriously.

    Yes, it was embarrassing.

Only 1 year, wonder what influenced them on making that decision, anyone crying over this ringing shit is an idiot

Anderson got a year, if the commission wasserious from the beginning, Anderson wouldn't be coming back till 2017

As bad as the process may have sucked, they got the punishment right.

I've always said- first time= 1 year, second time 4 years, third time= life time ban.

Plus if you get caught, you should always be getting tested more than everyone else.

Do you even know which athletic commission you're talking about?

Judging by the title of the thread and your post it seems as though you think there is just one.
