outweigh the fun of drinking? I used to drink heavy thurs, fri, sat. Towards the end of college I started questioning that decision.

Now that I'm out on my own, besides the occasional beer with my friends I find that I hardly drink at all. The next day just isn't worth it.

When you're sick and tired of getting sick and tired.

when you grow up.

i dont get hangovers much because i dont drink to excess much anymore

I keep my heavy drinking to once a month. I have soo much beer and alcohol in the fridge but I never touch it. Unless it's Saturday morning and I'm watching soccer or the miami hurricanes play.

My body just eventually lost resiliency and what used to be a mild hangover started to feel like death. It's better to just have a few brews anyways. I'm not a big fan of being shitass drunk.

It all depends on how much fun you had. If you got moderately drunk, had a decent time, but have a massive hangover in the morning? Not worth it.

If you get blasted and have the time of your life? The massive hangover is worth it.

And seriously people: When you're that hungover, eat something greasy, drink another beer, and you'll be fine.

Exactly. My tolerance dropped like a rock.

i had a 2 1/2 day hangover once. holy fuck, just feel sick thinking bout that agony.

friday, my friends grad party: went crazy that night cant catalog everything I drank, but there were 10 kegs and i brought a handle of sailor jerrys, also ended up playing edward 40hands. ended up drinking until 4 A.M.

Saturday: woke up at 11 PM I was in agony.
took a nap, thinking I would feel better once I woke up. nope the head pain was much worse, in fact. spent the whole day in bed, until the fights came on (Mccall vs Mighty Mouse 2.. lol)

Sunday: woke up STILL HUNGOVER.
at this point I was scared for my health. I watched Prometheus in theaters with this girl and felt like shit the whole time. ended up being a horrible date.

Monday: slight migraine in the morning, faded away as I started work (caffine helped too)

when you make a thread on sherdog about it.

I power drink like a mad **** several times a week and frequently end up dealing with a scorching hangover while at work.

It sucks

If you're getting hangovers you're probably drinking shitty booze. I switched from rum to moonshine and have never looked back. It's more expensive, but I never get any kind of hangover and I enjoy the buzz so much more than rum/aged whiskey/gin, etc. I'm a pudgy guy, so I sweat quite a bit, and I'm always slamming water throughout the day.... that certainly helps. Even when boozing I'll do a few shots of water and eat an ice cube or two just to keep some water in my alcohol system.

Once my hangovers started lasting 2, sometimes 3 days. It was just straight torture, so I quit and never turned back.

There's drunk, then there's DRUNK drunk.

Drunk hangovers are mild at most and well worth it.

DRUNK drunk hangovers are horrific and only worth it on an annual basis.
