Assuming Silva wins, what's next for him?

It can't be another title shot. That's not fair to Weidman, but I'm not sure who he would fight next if he beat Diaz which I'm counting on him doing. I'm not sure, they would probably give him another fighter who will stand and trade with Silva so hopefully he could get a highlight KO. Maybe Rockhold or Romero or even Bisping?

They likely need to give him another contender to bide his time, maybe they ship him up to 205 temporarily.

I'd like Rockhold or Mousasi vs Silva.

The more I think about the more likely a fight with Bisping seems. That would be a HUGE co-main event for a Pay-per view or if they got bold even a HUGE main event on Fox

I wouldn't be against this. Would love to see one or more of the fights we were never going to get while Silva was champion: Bisping, Rashad, Rampage, Shogun.

Based on what Dana's said, it would not shock me if they made Weidman-Silva III next as a cash grab if Silva's leg doesn't shatter and he takes care of business vs Diaz.

He should fight at least 2 more contenders before challenging for the title again.
