Hughes and Liddell work for the ufc in made up important jobs but they seem very happy.

Randy has made movies and is considered a legend everywhere he goes.

Bas is about as widely respected as a human being can be in his profession and has fitness products that generate income as well as being on one of the best mma tv shows.

Kenflo is the face of the ufc on fox, hes fantastic at his new career.

Arona wakes up every day at noon, surfs the best waves in the atlantic, lays on a beach all afternoon, bangs the hottest chicks ever at night. Rinse and repeat.

It has to be the greatest retirement life ever if it is indeed what he has been doing over the last 8 years.

What kind of capital does he have coming in? The other guys you have listed all have careers that they enjoy

I loved to hate Bore-ona.

My last memory is Shogun punching him down and winning the Pride GP.

Ahhhhhh I miss ya, Tiger!

Me too... I hated him so badly, but remember him with affection - kind of like Koscheck.

Eye gouging, cut gouging, openly talking about fucking other people's girlfriends, mashing up Sakuraba... He was a great heel... And he always lost when it was the most devastating and humiliating, which made it so much better.

War Arona.

I guess we were about due for another one of these "Arona surfs and bangs babes" threads.

They're all equal if they are happy.

I imagine this was true nearly a decade ago. Now? I highly doubt it.

His sponsors still give him spending money

But yeah I'm sure being a beach bum is great and all but it's probably not the most fulfilling life and if he's still at it these days it's kinda sad

The UFC was the perfect fit for his skillset as well, guy will probably spend the rest of his life thinking to him self "what if?" But then again don't we all

I don't like surfing, beaches, or babes, so I'm not exactly seething with jealousy over him being a beach bum in Brazil.

Where this thread comes from, what motivated you to do this, Im interested.

He's not retired yet but

Probably the most powerful fighter ever

Surely his sponsors aren't still paying him 10 years after his last fight. I'm also not so sure waking up at noon and relaxing at the beach every day and banging prostitutes is all that "awesome" when you're almost 40. The only people for whom that applies are serious addicts.
