Assuming Cain and JDS win at UFC 160 is Cain vs JDS 3 happening next? Has Dana said anything about JDS getting next shot if he beats Hunt? I'm hoping not. That would be Cain's 5th fight in a row with the exact same 2 fighters. That's redicioulus! I'm really hoping Werdum will get the next title shot.
 
Yeah, Dana said that if JDS wins, he gets the next shot.
 
Yeah I'm sure that's what would happen. But they both have tough fights in front of them.

Big foot 2
JDS 3 ?

Now how damn stupid is that. I would rather see Werdum or anyone other than JDS again. I'm a JDS fan but he could fight someone else before Cain vs JDS 3 happens.
 
You still have Cormier, the Browne/Overeem winner, and the Werdum/Nog winner hanging around. Division is getting deeper.

And that's what I don't understand with a potential Cain vs JDS 3 happening so quickly. Maybe Hunt will knock out JDS or big foot will beat Cain but its not looking likely.

Well remember they also had

Edgar vs maynard
Edgar vs maynard
Edgar vs benson
Edgar vs benson .
And that was in a stacked division .
 
I'm excited for their third fight, and I know Cain got his rematch with one win but it just seems a bit premature. I'd rather see Cain fight Werdum, Nelson, or the Overeem/Browne winner first.

I don't think it'll happen so fast. More contenders are available than there were around the time of the first two. Both fights were really decisive too. A third fight will happen. I would just like to see some others get their chances first.
 
i'd prefer Werdum, but JDS gave Cain a quick rematch. Time to return the favor.

Oh I remember that and that was dumb too! At least with sitcoms your not paying $55 to watch a re-run. Thankfully I'm working this Saturday so I won't be tempted to order the PPV!
 
I really don't wanna see Cain vs JDS so soon. They should let JDS(if he wins) fight the winner of Overeem/Browne and then give title shot to whoever deserved it.

In the meantime you can give shots to Werdum(if he wins), Nelson(if he wins) etc.
 
I think if Werdum wins against big Nog,he should get the next shot,then the winner of that fights JDS.
 
Werdum makes a lot of sense if he wins due to timing, fighting early June. Maybe Cain vs Werdum at UFC 164?

UFC guys know a lot more about marketing than me, but I think they should explore Cain as champion a little bit more before releasing vengeful JDS on him.
