It looks like you lowered your training max from your actual max for smolov. That's a great idea. Unlike most here, I don't think it's that horrible to go ahead and do smolov this early in your training career, especially since you lowered your max. You have a partner to hold you accountable and you'll get plenty of practice squatting. I did it right after SS and I think the end of SS might have actually been tougher. What is horrible is that you didn't video your squats. Next time record that shit and post a form check video in the main forum.

Yea I entered my max at 300 instead of my 1RM 315 just because smolov is a much more intense program. Me and my training partner are just starting to record more often so I will have more videos up and definitely need to put up a form check thread. Thanks so much for your input !

Keep forgetting to post in here and got quite lazy but ill start posting again, so my smolov journey has been pretty crazy so far. I went from struggling to put up 210 in the intro cycle and barely repping out 8 reps of 155, to repping 5 lbs over my max for 3.

Todays squat session started out rough, first set was wonky and failed on the last rep. I tried it again and turned out way better so I continued to pump it out for 10 sets. Pretty psyched about what I accomplished today. Kripto and I push eachother and basically call eachother bitches if we cant lift the weight which is probably why we go way over the recommended weight. But we are both definitely in for a pretty good 1RM pretty excited!
 


I finally hit 365, a 10 lb pr from the last time. I came a long way since December and I am pretty proud of where I am. I haven't hit a 1000 lb total yet but im 5 lbs away. God dammit.

FINALLY, im officially at 1015 lb total ! Hit a 405 deadlift yesterday with quads just for shits since the gym we go to got new bars. Video will be up soon !
As you might of already read in Kriptos forum, we are possibly joining our first meet ever in the summer. Psyched for that can't wait .
