As you get older, do you still enjoy going to festivals or music shows venues ?

It's not the live music I don't like, it's all the rest of it. Navigating the city, parking, traffic, big crowds, dumb sloppy idiots who can't handle their drink, expensive concessions etc. A smaller show I can vibe with, depending on who it is.

tbh if I'm not playing the gig, I'm kind of all set with that environment. Nothing I haven't seen before. Feel that way about a lot of shit now. Rather stay at home than take a chance getting T-boned by a drunk.

Always hated festivals, I went to a couple in my youth and I'm just not a fan of all the non-music shit, and on top of that the sound sucked so the musical experience was pretty crap. Did I mention expensive as fuck? Yeah, that too, absolutely not worth it when there's maybe one band out of a dozen that's actually decent.

Concerts at my local venues? I go to several of those every year, there's always a band I want to see and the local places are still reasonably priced. Also helps that many of the musicians I like usually play at smaller concert halls or local clubs so I'm always in the good seats.

I stopped clubbing when I went to pool parties and outdoor festivals. I can't stand seeing people on drugs during the daylight. Maybe I was being old but I was thinking about how these ladies shouldn't wear this in public.

I attend/work 200+ shows a year and I don't play on slowing down anytime soon

Concerts , yea , festivals, no.

Never liked festivals when I was a teenager or early 20s either . I would love to see Rod Stewart before he stops touring and he's playing Glastonbury and that's easy for me to get to but the whole festival thing is a no.... however Vegas could be possible...
