I'm in the US, so my knowledge is somewhat limited, but I'd venture to guess (in no particular order) The Netherlands, Romania, Ukraine, France, Russia?

1. Thailand 2.Japan 3.China/ Holland 4.France 5.Brazil, Russia or the Ukraine

1. Japan
2. Netherlands
3. Thailand
4. China
5. Russia

In popularity I guess you have to take Thailand out and put Romania in. But in Level of competition I think is good like this.

These topics from the OP are suspicious. Are you working for ONE?

You could cheat and put Suriname in but most of those guys were developed in Holland as opposed to their home country so it is probably excluded.

I almost said this, and didn't for the exact same reason.
Also, I realize that my opinion of this was biased towards the heavier weight classes. Thanks boys for pointing that out.

I'm sure if you ask any moroccan, they'd say Morocco is #1

Who from Suriname is currently fighting in Kickboxing right now? Most of those guys grew up in the Netherlands anyways. Same goes for Morocco.

It’s like how everybody says that they are Irish. You aren’t Irish, you’re from Jersey.

Donegi Abena, Regian Eersel, Ismael Londt, Donovan Wisse, and I have a feeling that Tyrone will come back. born in the Netherlands but with Surinamese roots you have Groenhart, the Wilnis brothers, Fabio Kwasi....

Spong isn't coming back. Londt is decent. If you're born in the Netherlands you count for the Netherlands. It's the Kickboxing infrastructure of the Netherlands that created these fighters. I think it's silly to propose Suriname in the top 5. Good fighters of Surinamese descent, sure. Same for Morocco.

I totally agree with you. Most of these guys are dutch for me as well. But for the organizations is important to explore their background for marketing purposes.

When Frankie is fighting....When Conor's fighting....Pour the Guinness and pass the Lucky Charms!!!!
