There is NO DOUBT that Trump’s recent comments and tweets re: “the Squad” were racist... and there is also no doubt that Donald Trump doesn’t care.

Donald Trump is planning on running in 2020 as the champion of traditional white, Christian, values, if you did know.

Why is he running on that? Well, last time, if you remember, he ran as the champion of the FORGOTTEN MIDDLE CLASS. If you remember, he PROMISED the following:
- Higher Minimum Wage
- Higher Taxes on the Rich
- Universal Healthcare
- A HUGE Infrastructure Bill...

You know, in other words, he ran on a bunch of popular policies.

Seriously, does everyone remember that?!

Well, yeah, taxs on the wealthy got cut, Universal Healthcare is now called SOCIALISM!, there in no infrastructure bill, the WH just announced plans to formally veto minimum wage legislation, and Trump’s new labor secretary has a union-busting agenda.

Edit: Added points
Yes @luckyshot distraction is a big part.

While people are distracted they are also gutting all the Institutional checks and balances within various gov't Institutions.

Agency by agency that has typically had to assess and approve big development projects, deal with environmental issues and more are all being completely hollowed out by the Trump appointees who are leaving jobs as lobbyists for industries and Trump is now making them the head of the gov't body regulating those industries.

It is clear the goal is to clear out the knowledge base. If you don't have the long serving scientists and employees the ability to argue against big corporate pushes is far more difficult. If you do not have the long serving scientists and employees, there is less likely to be someone who steps up and fights for what is right instead of turning a blind eye.

The Interior Department and USDA are in the sights right now. Both departments told without pre warning that the agencies will be moved to other States and all employees must give notice within 30 days as to whether they will move or they will be packaged out. Expectations are that less than 20% will move and these agencies will lose most of all its brain trust for the Trump appointees (former lobbyist) to then fill in the new regions.

There has literally been not ONE single person who has given anything but an opinion on Trumps tweets. I honestly don’t care about your feelings, I’m concerned about truth. Trump said nothing racist, he didn’t.

Other threads to discuss that in. The point of this thread is that it is a distraction from the GOP’s Plutocratic agenda, for which Trump is a ridiculously effective mask.

This kinda speaks to the state of the Democrats. The party has really allowed themselves to be completely derailed by all of this false outrage shit.

Pelosi has done her best time and time again not to take the bait, but it’s tough to survive in the Informational Ecosphere of THE TRUMP SHOW.

What have all the headlines been about for the last several days? How many headlines have you seen about the GOP’s plutocratic agenda?

Remember that the next time someone brings up media bias. This is the TRUE media bias— not who’s good or bad, but what conversations get had.

Of course, it’s all driven by We the People and our Pavlov’s Dog-like stimuli responses to culture war bullshit. We get what we deserve.

No, you invited debate over the "racist" opinion again, here, with your thread title and your OP.

If you wish for that to be out of bounds you need to edit both.

Donald Trump is smarter than the entire democratic base and party. He dictates what you think and what you talk about. And he does it all from twitter.

"false"

The outrage is not false, people are mad about actual shitty behavior.

I agree that there is a reason for people to be mad, it just feels like its all more a distraction from policy issues. False isnt a good word for it, but i cant really think of a better word to describe it.

So basically Trump is rolling over the left. What else is new.

Manufactured? ;)

J/K. Like most people, I don't really give a shit. The left always overblows every little thing that Trump SAYS to the point of absurdity. If they are trying to get their credibility back, after the 2 year Mueller lie, they are sure going about it in an ineffective way.

Jesus Christ bro, that thread title...

Have you considered working for the huffington blowst?

Trumps attacks on the 2nd and 4th amendment, (support for red flag laws, bump stock ban) and his bombing of Syria on a confirmed lie told me all I needed to know. The rest of this fuck shit is nothing but a distraction for the erosion of your rights, brother.

Well he is certainly smarter than his base. He has pointed that out before. Literally nothing he could do or say would sway your opinion of him. He said that too.
