You'll think he'll use his reach and size to keep his opponents at bay but struggles a lot.

A guy with 17 submission wins forcing himself to stand and bang with no striking talent whatsoever. That's Struve in nutshell.
So you want Struve to get a TS just cause?
if Miocic beats DC he should avenge Struve loss imo
I still think he should have concentrated more on grappling than striking in his career. With proper training, he could have been utilizing his long limbs on the ground rather than making fool out of himself with his subpar Semmy Schilt impression. Kind of a wasted opportunity, but on the other hand who could have ever known that he'd never learn to utilize his reach. The problem is though he's not THAT good a submission fighter either, doesn't really have any sub wins over quality fighters and has often taken a beating on the ground.
He's not a wrestler, though. He's not really forcing himself to stand. The better wrestler dictates where the fight goes. He's usually not the better wrestler.A guy with 17 submission wins forcing himself to stand and bang with no striking talent whatsoever. That's Struve in nutshell.
Yeah, it did seem like he was progressing as a fighter, probably peaking when he kayoed Stipe. But he's had a lot of bad luck and never really progressed and probably regressed. It's a shame. He seems like a good guy.I honestly think his heart disease still affects him.
He doesn't look the healthiest giant in the world.
