Now a days we get to see a high level MMA card on an almost weekly basis. This is one of those weekends that happens to slip through the cracks though. However PBC has a couple of decent televised cards this weekend. (Friday on Spike and Saturday on Fox)

I'm more of an MMA fan, but I still enjoy and follow boxing. Watching the skill and grace of throwing just hands can be a refreshing way to enjoy combat sports after being used to watching MMA week in and week out.

If you don't usually watch boxing (and have nothing else going on) seeing as there is no MMA scheduled this would be a good weekend to check it out .

Coming from an (original) boxing background, I used to watch boxing religiously. When MMA came out, it sort of took over for me, in terms of excitement.

I still watch some of the big boxing fights now & then, but prefer the diversity of MMA more.

i watch both, but mma takes precedent.

this weekend was a good example- even though ggg and roman gonzalez (2 of boxing's best p4p) were on the same boxing card, i watched the mediocre ufc card live instead (and watched the ggg fight the next day).

The odd fight,

floyd/canelo/pac

Fury/klitchkso

I dont really watch alot of boxing,it annoys me when a guy has a really wide stance or something and your just thinking man this guy is so open to a nice body kick or leg kick etc

Nope.

Tbh I don't really follow any other sport.

Same here. I actually DVR'd boxing and watched the Chocolatito and GGG bouts right after the UFC card was over.

I used to love watching boxing and especially Tyson in his prime but there just isnt any crazy Tyson esque personalities left in the sport anymore to keep me engaged.

I watch boxing of the kicking variety when I can

Roy Jones, Shane Mosley & Arturo Gatti made me love combat sport.

MMA was pretty big in Quebec in early 2000's with the TKO org (Stout, Gsp, Loiseau, Menjivar)

But I really got into mma when GSP join the UFC.

I still love boxing a lot.
Can't wait for Kovalev vs Ward.

If you don't also watch boxing you're not a real mma fan.

Yes. Not as entertaining as MMA (past eras were) but its been delivering recently. I cant miss a Gennady or Chocalitito fight

Its like asking if you watch the show or just the commercials.

When you discover the beauty of mixed martial arts, nothing else interests you. I watch only Klitschko(probably one of the worst picks to watch in boxing).

Yup. Boxing tended to fade with MMA coming into the picture. I still watch boxing here and there, though. Hardcore fan in MMA, mainstream fan in boxing. I couldn't tell you a name of an undercard in boxing normally.

I'm a boxing fan first, but I watch some MMA to laugh at wrestlers try to box.

No. I used to watch K-1 though. I've always preferred striking to grappling.

I do indeed, I love boxing. Great time for UK boxing as well, 10 world champs! More than any other country, and we've got more to come with Callum Smith.

I love to watch boxing, MMA is my favorite but it lacks technique that I like to see in the art of striking.
