As a longtime Rashad Evans hater

...its been super sad watching him the past couple of years.

I was a hater since he KO’d Chuck, Forrest and LnP’d his way to a win over Rampage, but the guy has declined haaaard and its difficult to watch. He is well past Liddell territory at this point

I really hope he decides to hang them up after tonight, he is a smart guy with tons of potential opportunities after MMA and i dont wanna see CTE ruin that for him

As a fighter, not a person. I know hes a nice, funny dude IRL but Chuck, Forrest and Rampage are some of my fav fighters of all time lol

I was hoping he would get one more W and retire but he just lost to Anthony fucking Smith.....its now time for Shad to call it a career, idk what happened to him but ever since his loss to Glover he has not looked right, tentative and makes mistakes because of it...mentally done unfortunately.

He has a lot to offer the sport going forward, just not as a fighter anymore.

Thats the thing though, who knows if he is already experiencing symptoms that might make the decision to hang them up difficult. He may not have the best cognitive ability anymore which is worrying

yeah man definitely sad seeing these guys stick around way longer than they should. Shad already showin signs of CTE and had trouble getting licensed a while back. Hope to see him hang em up instead of getting bodied by guys he woulda destroyed in his prime. Also lets not forget Shad was the first guy to blow the whistle on Jones back when he was still sherdogs darling.

That knee landed perfectly. Rashad, poor guy, he just does not have it anymore. The Glover KO really ruined him.
