Agreed Mr.Wick accept that I thought Conor won that 1st just based on octagon pressure not that he did anything more significant than Nate. I too think Nate will come in much more relaxed and and far more prepared all the pressure and eyez is on Conor to win this throwing crazy money at a fight camp bringing in specialists and blah, blah.

I think Conor cracks and adrenaline dumps in the 3rd also.

Conor was dominating the first fight. While I was watching the fight I thought Conor would finish Nate during the second round. When Conor got rocked I was jumping out of my seat because it was unexpected. I do think efficiency with energy was a problem even thought he got killed here for it. I think if Conor had a training camp like the one he is having now he could beat an 11 days notice Nate who was partying and eating tacos in Mexico.


However, Conor's speciality remains midgets.

^This boy is cutting from 200 pounds. I think we're going to see a very different Nate Diaz. An absolute killer whose going to finish Conor in this fight. This isn't the same Nate Diaz He's stronger. His energy is even better with the right nutrition and cardio leading into the fight. He's sparring against high level guys and putting rounds in. Less anxiety and more confidence this time around with a full camp and beating Conor already. He has his brother in his corner with his suspension wrapped up. This is his chance to really break through. Round 3 TKO stoppage for Nate. The HYPE...4 days...

I like both fighters and Conor won the first but it wasn't domination by any means. Also I think it's funny how Diaz is flexing. I'm not sure if he just can't gain muscle or what but I have bigger muscles then him and I only work out three times a week.

Conor has much better hands than Diaz but the problem is if he can't knock Diaz out within the first 2 rounds he is in big trouble. Diaz has heart and cardio for ages.

As Chael said, you can train more and improve your cardio but not enough to go on five rounds when you couldn't handle 2.

I think the same thing OP, people have deluded themselves about the first fight, Nate was getting his ass kicked. I've never seen someone beat his face into pulp within a round like Conor.

I was rooting for Nate and was pretty disappointed with his performance until the big punch which turned the whole tide of the fight.

Diaz still won I'm not sure why his fans get so salty when you point out the simple fact Conor was easily winning the bout up until he got rocked.

In all honesty I do have a hard time feeling confident in either guy for this fight. Safe money is on Diaz, but I really think that Conor is capable of a much, much better performance. I think he really wants this win more than Nate does and I think that could be the difference.

Nate looked really great against MJ so I also think that Nate is hitting a kind of career renaissance for himself.

As strange as it sounds I think both men are actually better fighters right now than many people give them credit for.
