Told of White's comments, boxing promoter Bob Arum said White is "a little too much of a loose cannon. He's nuts, man."
Richard Schaefer, chief executive of Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions, said White's video "crosses the line and hurts the brand."
UFC has "built an amazing asset -- the gold standard -- but when you have people associated with your company saying things like that . . . it becomes a liability," Schaefer said. "The UFC is followed by a lot of young fans. When they hear the president of the company use this language, it sends the wrong signal."
