One of my best friends in the world is a dyke, so I've been in more than a few gay bars. I couldn't agree more.Screw parades. But gay/lesbian bars can be a hoot. No way not to meet someone interesting.
I don't really like punk, but that's a cool band.
Buddy of mine is in a wheelchair. Only handicap accessible bar in his former hometown was a gay bar.Screw parades. But gay/lesbian bars can be a hoot. No way not to meet someone interesting.
Look at all these studs representing straight pride.
WHat do ya mean you dont really like punk ? What did you grow up listening to ?
Classic Rock, Industrial Metal, East Coast Hip-Hop. I have a serious guilty pleasure (???) for a shit ton of new wave though, which punk is actually something of a parent genre to. A lot of it gives me nostalgic feels for times that I didn't even live in or experience.
The controversial Straight Pride Parade, organized by three conservative straight men, attracted between 200 and 300 marchers but many more counter protesters, including people who identify with the anti-fascist group antifa.
They shouted "Nazi scum!" at the marchers, jeered and heckled them throughout the mile-long parade, and confronted the extraordinary number of police who worked to separate the two sides. Most of the arrests happened after the rally as police tried to disperse the crowd of counter protesters to reopen streets.
I like a little new wave and a little east cost rap. I like Immortal technique and army of the pharaohs a lot. What I really like though is 90s punk and third wave ska. How you feel bout some ska, dak?
The fast-tempo horn music? It's aight.
Rejecting a specific plea deal is a different situation. The 2 parties will just go back and work out a new deal.Let's remember in War Machine's trial the judge rejected a plea agreement that the DA recommended for Mr. Machine. And I did not hear any outcries over that. I know nothing about criminal law so I have no idea how rare this is. But it obviously does happen.
What jurisdiction are you in? If judges got in the habit of going outside of sentences when they are specified in plea deals, the whole justice system would break down. The plea agreement is between the prosecutor and the defense, the judge is not a party to it nor beholden to it. Judges are required to make that more than clear before the plea is accepted as well. It’s not rare, really, for a judge to give a harsher or lighter sentence than is agreed upon in a plea deal. It’s totally up to the judge to give any sentence allowed within the statute.
I am not an expert on this, and have far less knowledge on judicial matters than I do police matters before it gets to the courts, however, I don’t believe that the judge overstepped his bounds on this. He has a criminal complaint filed by officers, which he signed and found probable cause. Now that the prosecutor wants the charges dropped because of lack evidence does not mean he has to dismiss the case. He can arraign the defendants and it should be case by case basis. He can call for a special prosecutor to be called in.
In a related matter, i thoroughly enjoyed watching the videos from the protests as many snowflakes melted upon the hot Boston sidewalks that day.

Finding actual episodes of the skit are rare these days. SNL self-censoring because of SJW cancel culture.
Legit lol at your description. You make it sound so spastic
