armbar from halfguard

It is an "actual technique" and I did get taught it during a class.

cameron earle was countering a calf slicer attempt from the half guard by spinning around to the other side for the armbar - it was sweeet. i think thats a different technique than was originally posted tho...the original post was about getting the armbar on the same side.
 
I just got this while rolling yesterday ... I wouldn't say it's a "sweet" sub, but it works, and it's surprising. In my case, the other guy got so worried about defending the surprise armbar from halfguard that I was able to pop my leg out of halfguard and converted it to a full armbar. Interesting move.
