I really, really, really wanna see Dawson vs Arman.

I know Gamrot was a HUGE underdog to Arman, and Dawson would be a pretty sizeable underdog to Arman probably, but if Dawson doesn't gas, he can very well beat Arman.

He'd blanket everyone on that available fighter list other than Dawson if not do damage on top after wrestling them all day.

Dawson doesn't get one tenth the hype Arman gets, but Dawson is a very, very good fighter. I mean Dawson is 7-0-1 in UFC, 19-1-1 overall. Come on now, give him Arman fight who is 19-3 overall, 6-2 UFC. Both guys have 8 fights in UFC with similar records.

If Dawson doesn't gas, he can very well beat Arman.

Well it's not going to be against Islam or Poirier. Gamrot just fought (and both of them fought not long ago), so he's out. Chandler is filming TUF then fighting Conor, he's out. Jalin Turner just fought and lost, so I doubt it's him unless he wants a quick turnaround against another savage w/ great grappling, seems unlikely. Drew Dober is linked to a possible Paddy Pimblett fight, so I don't think it's him. Grant Dawson and Thiago Moises have no Main Event appeal and Gregor Gillespe hasn't fought since May 8, 2021, I'd be surprised to see his name. Dan Hooker is still injured.

That leaves, Renato Moicano, so that's who I believe it is.

I don't disagree with you praising Dawson's skill, but based off the way the UFC books, unless he's a last minute fill in, no way he Main Events a fight night in April. His last fight was the opening main card fight of a fight night and he's only Co-Main Evented once in a forgettable Draw by Majority Decision. The UFC isn't going to give him a Main Event.

Given that Damir doesn't fight very often, and is an 'international' star that can easily fight outside of the US, I'd say he's got a good chance of facing Hooker next nonetheless!

I think Moicano or Dober are the most likely next fights for Arman. It doesn't matter a ton though, the soonest he can get a title shot is 15-18 months from now. ASSUMING Islam stays winning, he will fight once more this year and then early next year before Ramandan. Most likely he fights Beneil Dariush (Fiziev if Dariush loses) sometime around August-October and then fights Fiziev, Poirier or maybe the winner of Conor vs Chandler early 2024...then we get Ramadan again and then he will fight around August 2024. Arman just needs to stay busy, rack 3-4 wins minimum over this time. God forbid fucking Volk vs Islam II happens.

Dober will be such an easy fight so long as he sticks to wrestling, Dober's takedown defense is good at best and Arman's takedowns are amazing. Dober on his back is like a fish out of water. The biggest thing I'm looking for from Arman is improved striking, it's not really sharp or purposeful enough right now, he hasn't shown knockout power or anything too crafty. He's a good kicker with okay hands and solid speed because hes a great athlete. Moves in straight lines when he attacks. Wouldn't have hated Jalin vs Arman but I think people would be surprised how much better Arman is at keeping guys down once he takes them down unlike Gamrot.

Santos was a tough fighter in his own right especially against wrestlers. He was 7-0-1 in UFC before Dawson fight.

Dawson is very good. We can pick apart anyone's resume. Who did Arman beat that was a great wrestler in UFC?

Nobody. Literally lost every single time he faced a good wrestler.

But not here to play a fight finder game. If you don't think Dawson is great, it is what it is.
