This makes the most sense to me. Ben had the most pull for the next one but just got embarrassed, and JDS was knocked out by Reem so can't jump ahead. Both Reem and Andrei are draws, have good streaks, and both carry that allure of a "comeback" in terms of their careers.

I don't think Werdum gets the rematch if he loses, and it's still easy to sell Andrei/Miocic 2, or Werdum/Overeem 3 - plus he beat Werdum last time. And Overeem/Miocic is a fresh fight for fans.

Does this make sense or will we see a retardo move by the UFC?

if arlovski wins he will not get a title shot. if reem wins, reem will get the shot at the belt

I am inclined to agree. Maybe we might see Hunt/Arlovski for the next shot if Arlovski lands on Overeem first.

My 2 cents.

If it's Reem of course.
If it's Arlovski
Probably Cain if he beat Brown and stay Healthy.

If Not hey, JDS rematch would sell...

I agree, it's all matter of being healthy and available in the right moment
If Arlovski wins and Cain and JDS gets injured, he will receive the TS

I just want to see Overeem fight for the UFC title one time.

If Werdum retains his title, he will be pushing hard for JDS. It depends on how much the UFC values his opinion I think. It's definitely the fight Werdum wants.

Arlovski will get the next shot if he wins. There's no one else to give it to.

I don't think I've heard him mention a JDS rematch at all. I think you're reaching.

Only Overeem

If AA wins, then Cain probably gets it if he beats Browne

If AA wins, Cain loses

Then maybe JDS

Reem yes but if andrei wins, it becomes muddled. I wouldn't mind andrei vs jds if he wins. I would say a win over reem and jds is enough to get andrei a shot. If reem beats aa then he's done enough already.

This is exactly what will happen. Of course Cain will pull out and we will end up with short notice Roy Nelson vs Stipe/Werdum

It depends on how the fights end up, only scenario I cant see where the winners face each other is if Andrei and Stipe both win. At that point I think if Stipe is champ they will have to look for another contender, which could be JDS considering he has a recent win over Stipe. Otherwise if Werdum and Andrei win that fight should be made and of course Overeem vs Stipe/Werdum.

Overeem if he wins will get the title shot against the winner of Werdum and Stipe, which I actually think will be Stipe

If Velasquez wins, he gets the next shot. Reem is behind him. Arlovski is behind both of them but only two wins away from the shot himself.

Hunt is in the mix, too. If I'm not mistaken, he is at the end of his contract and he has mentioned that he would retire at the end of it.

Reem vs Cain at UFC 200 would've been better.

cain when he beats browne
If Cain even makes it to the Browne fight he'll take another year off at least. Plenty of time for Werdum/Stipe to get another fight.

good streaks?? andrei was just flat lined by STipe not too long ago.

There should be 2 heavyweight belts because of how little the 1 HW champ fights. Then I will care more about contenders
