I'm not sure I've ever seen this before. Arlovski won 29-28 on all three cards, but each judge gave Boser a different round.

With all rounds each judge gave him Canadian Roy Nelson would've won 30-27 :D

It's like the judges got it right by coincidence.

Probably all fell asleep at different times during the fight.

Weird card scoring for sure, but I was at least glad to see the nod in favor of Andrei. Boser had the strike count advantage. But it was basically 65% leg kicks that really didn't seem to be affecting Andrei a whole lot considering he spent the whole fight kicking his leg and he never really seem compromised by it. The right hands Andrei was landing were far and away the most meaningful strikes in the fight visibly wobbling Tanner more than once, and making him hesitate to throw hands for most of the fight.

That's why I don't watch him compete anymore. It's just close and uneventful fights where every boring round could be decided by a coin toss.

joanna vs rose 2 had 3 unique score cards.

each judge gave joanna 1 round, but each judge gave her a different round.

Why is combat sports judging one of the only professional jobs without consistent professional standards?

I cant agree with the dec. Arlovski landed big shots according to Cruz but literally did no damage with any of them. At least Boser was consistent with his baby leg kicks.

I just watched it, and I don’t know how anyone scores round 1 for Arlovski. Rounds 2 and 3 were super close though. My personal score for the fight is 30-29, but I know judges rarely hand out 10-10 rounds, so 2 and 3 can go either way.

Considering the welt on the outside of Andrei's leg I don't know how "baby" those leg kicks were. Most effective strikes of the fight, I thought.

hard fight to call but there should be some sort of unity right? Very rare scorecard!

Whenever we have close fights, even sherdoggers disagree as to which rounds were won and lost by a fighter.

It's entirely possible that even with the most professional and knowledgable judges that it occasionally is gonna happen in close fights that each round is scored differently by the judges, and it has nothing - necessarily - to do with incompetance.

I have mad respect for AA but that fight should be declared a no contest.

In fact all these bore draws should be called no contests or draws. No one really cares and you shouldn’t be able to pad a W streak or record with those types of fights.

Exactly. One strike can end up making the key difference in the way the judge sees it. So, say one of those first two rounds- I believe it was round 1- Boser was controlling the pace and probably landing with slightly more frequency but then AA absolutely clocks him in the closing moments of round 1. Well, that's by far the most significant strike there and that would edge the round in a fight where neither guy landed much. That's how I saw it. In my view Arlovski took rounds 1 and 2.

Huge Arlovski fan nothing would please me more than seeing him go on a tare to title contention, however I had Bozer winning rounds 1&3 giving him the decision. Poor judging imo. Arlovski was too inactive and the shots he landed were over exaggerated by the commentators.
