That was one of the worst title fights I've ever seen. Will not watch again.
Fighters shouldn't get the damn option to take a foul or not. What other sport do they get the option?
None. No NFL coach would have a job if they didn't take the penalty because of "honor". Bunch of crap.
Lol. Genius, again you’re assuming he gets an instant rematch that no one wants to see.I'm not speculating at all.
If you think he wouldn't make more money by having an instant rematch with Jones.... you're even fucking dumber than everybody thought.
sounds like a "fighters mindset" is the mindset of a loser tbh.Ariel is not a fighter and doesn’t have a fighters heart or mindset.
Boxing champs lose their belts with a DQ (See Roy Jones Jr vs Montel Griffin), so there's no reason to think the UFC belts wouldn't.
Ariel is not a fighter and doesn’t have a fighters heart or mindset.

"What do you mean honor?! HE'S the one who threw the illegal knee, not you!"
Agreed 100%
The rules are that if the fighter isn’t able to continue ... yet smith was clearly able to continue. So some arguing that he himself should cheat to win because he was hit with an illegal blow aren’t exactly being true to the rules. How many of you saying Smith shouldn't take a dq win for illegal strikes also say Jones is a cheater and should be disqualified for PEDs or eyepokes? It's frustrating when people believe in rules except when they don't believe in rules. A fighter full of adrenaline is the last guy who should be asked if they're still capable of fighting. The rules against illegal strikes are there to protect the fighters long term health not just to negate a momentary advantage
He was 1 toe stomp away from being champ.Wasn’t the Chael fight where jones toe was half ripped off
Wouldhave been hilarious if Chael made it out of the rpund
Take the DQ,fake an injury
Hitting a pregnant woman ,run away and come back for a bag of coke count as fighter mindset?
