And taking steroids to beat a guy with same arm reach as my GF... FeelsBadMan
Like fucking Jon Jones wouldn't have taken the DQ if the roles were reversed. He would have Chris Weidman the fuck out of that situation.
He just burned more money for not taking that DQ than he is going to ever see in the rest of his career.
The guy who fought through hell with Gus would rather let vitor break his arm than tap nah Jon Jones isn’t a pussy ass quieter and neither is Smith Ariel can’t relate
No he’s a winner ... and chance to take the belt .. he’ll do it ... fuck what anyone else thinks
Any history of him taking bs dq”victories”. If not fuck anything and everything you say. The mans willing to fight through injuries history shows he’d never takes dq and call it a “win.”
This kind of thing can fuck up your career in the long run. He'll deal with constant fan hate (Which can get ugly, death threats, doxing, harassing family), and would probably fall out of favor with Dana and the UFC. (Probably bury him on prelims, giving him shitty match ups, and cut him in a heart beat).
It is also lion in Hebrew so...
He messed up.
He would have been champ, got the rematch, got PPV points since he is the champ and earned an easy 2-3 million dollars.
Had a chance to earn life changing money and passed it up. Big mistake.
He will probably never get a chance to earn that much money, that quick, ever again.
I’m sure you know him so well.
And you are speculating as to a financial benefit from faking your way to a win in a fight you’re losing badly.
What are you basing all of that on?
Rules and past disclosed information about ufc contracts etc....
What rules? When has anyone been crowned champ after a dq?
Jones would have lost.
Just like he lost against Matt Hamill.
ariel 100% correct
he is the reason MMA is a legit sport on ESPN today
a win is a win. people don't even remember how vitor won his UFC belt today and given jones' last performance, i bet smith would've won the rematch
btw smith fought like a scared schoolchild that entire fight so why not just go out on the illegal knee. better than turtling up against the fence
I asked when someone was crowned champ on a dq. The ufc controls the belt. Faking your way to a dq win is a good way to shorten your ufc tenure.
A win isn’t a win. And lol at Smith would have beat jones. No one would have considered smith champ off a dq and it’s not even clear he’d be champ.
No doubt ufc would be pissed, but he would be champ, contracts already state champion terms, rematch, cash in and that is that.
Makes more money in one fight than the rest of his ufc career. Retire early, do something else and still get the money.
This is exactly what Ariel is referring to, he missed out on a huge opportunity.
Ariel does seem like the kind of person to suggest that
so you're saying, if I win...I don't win? LOL you are very confused about how that works
just ask matt hammill, he won against jon jones. that's what the record book says and he got paid his win money as contractually obligated
a DQ win is a win bro
go watch women's soccer instead, conor casual chump
