cowboy is another bar room brawler... highly overrated career. When bums like masvidal, cerrone, and nate diaz are headlining events these guys are cans is embarrasing. I stopped following the sport of mma after the wwe like shift it took around 2013. Scripted trash-talk/callouts to try garner intrest for a fight. If i wanted to watch wwe, i would still be watching it

The effort on Cowboy's part was so lacking that the fight looked like it must have been fixed. And it didn't help that he did exactly what he said he would do and take grappling completely off the table. He has never looked so bad on a takedown 'attempt' or in the clinch, and he didn't even try to panic wrestle when he got 'rocked' by Conor's big toe. Of course the story is that he always folds in big events. But never that bad, this was an extra special effort at folding in a big fight.
